Drugs safety leaflet launched - 18/09/06
The 'Inroads Streets Drugs Project' has launched a new leaflet
to advise the public on what to do if they find a needle or
syringe.
Although it is a rare situation for someone to find themselves
in, it is vital that people are aware of what steps to take on such
an occasion.
The key message of the 'How to Keep Us All Safe' leaflet is to
keep yourself safe, keep others safe, and contact either
Environmental Health or your local Police Station.
The 'Inroads' charity, with centres in Cardiff and the Vale of
Glamorgan, provide a free and confidential service offering
information, advice and support to drug users, ex-users, their
families and friends.
As 'Inroads' is one of the chosen charities supported by the
Vale of Glamorgan Mayor Nic Hodges during his year in office, the
leaflet was launched at an official reception he hosted at the
Civic Offices in Barry.
The leaflet will be distributed to service users, pharmacies,
libraries, health centres, and other community venues.

centre), or 01446 404040 (Vale centre)
