Football fun in the Vale - 18/09/06
Young footballers are invited to have fun improving their
skills at a series of special 'Football Fun Days' at local Leisure
Centres during half-term.
Run by The Vale of Glamorgan Council's Football Development
Unit, the fun days are for boys and girls aged 6 – 11. Each
session, from 10am to 3pm, will be led by highly qualified football
coaches. The 'Football Fun Day' schedule is as follows:
Tues 31st Oct: Llantwit Major Leisure Centre
Wed 1st Nov: Barry Leisure Centre
Thurs 2nd Nov: Penarth Leisure Centre
Fri 3rd Nov: Cowbridge Leisure Centre
Each day costs £13.50 or £12 for FreeStyle members. A 'sibling
discount' is also offered for brothers and sisters. All
participants will receive a certificate and a prize, with medals
for competition winners. Players are asked to bring along a packed
lunch and wear suitable footwear.
