Navigating the website
The Vale of Glamorgan Council's website covers a vast range of
services and a wealth of information. There are a number of ways
you can find the information you want. Here are some
guidelines.
Menu
Menus at the top and left-hand side of pages can be used to
navigate through the site structure and access individual
pages.
A to Z
The A to Z facility is
a comprehensive list of topics and services provided by the Vale of
Glamorgan Council.
Sitemap
The sitemap is a tree-like structure that lists
pages within the site. Clicking on any page will direct users
to that page.
Search Facility
The search facility allows users to search the
whole site for specific pages using keywords. The search box is
located on the top right of each page.
Accessibility
The Vale of Glamorgan Council is fully committed to
providing a fully accessible website. Here are some guidelines to
make to most of the website's accessibility features.
Accessibility Options
The accessibility options facility allows users to
change the colour scheme and text size used throughout the site.
The accessibility options can be accessed using the link at
the top right of each page.
Text Only
The text only facility will allow users to view the site without
graphics. This facility can be accessed using the link on the
top right of each page. When using the text only
facility a user can return to the graphics mode using the
link at the bottom of the page.
PDF files
Some information on the Vale of Glamorgan Council's website is
available in PDF format. Adobe® Acrobat® Reader is free
software that lets you view and print Adobe Portable Document
Format (PDF) files. Download
Acrobat Reader.
Adobe can also help you access content using assistive
technologies such as screen readers or screen magnifiers. You can
link to the Access Adobe website for information on making these
documents accessible.
