The main aims of the Health and Safety Enforcement Service is
to:
- protect employees and those who may be exposed to risk,
including the public
- promote health and safety awareness
- enhance safety in the workplace
On 8th April 2011 the Sunbeds (Regulation) Act 2010 came into
force. The new Act introduces much stricter laws for
the control of access to and use of sunbeds and muc harsher
penalties for allow minors to use them. We have put together
a brief
introduction to the new Act and what it'll mean for you and

Following the Health and Safety session recently ran for
tattooists and piercers working within the Vale
of Glamorgan we have developed a section to help understand the
laws that apply to your tattooing or piercing business.
