Local recycling centres
Where are they?
We have two recycling centres (or you may hear them
called Civic Amenity Sites) at
Sully and
Llandow
You can recycle:
- Electrical
items
- Paper, glass and cans
- Plastics and cardboard
- Textiles
-
Tetra
paks
- Car oil
- Car and household batteries
- Scrap metal
- Garden waste and wood
- Bricks and rubble
- Fluorecent tubes
- Aluminium foil
- Gas bottles
Who can use them?
The sites are for use by Vale householders only. You will need a
permit if you want to take waste to the sites in a trailer or a van
(this is to prevent mis-use by commerical operators).
Ask for help
If you have difficulty unloading
your waste please ask for assistance, the Biffa site staff are
willing to help and will do thier best.
Quieter times
Whilst there are no hard and fast rules to avoid queues, weekday
mornings do tend to be the quietest!
