instance by Consumer Direct Wales.
Complex cases or those requiring further investigation may be
referred back to us after initial advice has been given by Consumer
Direct.

ECCS
The European Consumer Centre for
Services has been set up to assist consumers to make informed
choices when looking to buy services across Europe and therefore be
more confident and find it easier to choose a new and unfamiliar
service provider.
The European Consumer Centre for Services provides general
information on consumer laws and rights when buying a service in
another EU member state, as well as contact details for
organisations that could provide practical assistance in the case
of a dispute

If you are an Vale of Glamorgan trader or resident, you can
access leaflets including those produced by other
organisations such as The Office of Fair Trading and The
Department of Trade and Industry.

We also hold the Community Legal Service
quality mark for our advice service. This ensures that the
service we provide meets the standards laid down by the Legal
Services Commission.
