Banking scams

Emails are being sent claiming to be from your bank, asking you to click on a link that will take you to a fake but authentic looking website.  On the fake website you are then asked to confirm your bank details and to enter your PIN.  The website will then have a programme running allowing the fraudsters to copy your information and use your details and steal from your account.

Remember, no bank will ever ask you for you PIN number or account details on line.  If you receive an email claiming to be from your bank and asking you to confirm your details, do not do it and contact your bank for further advice.
