Our vision for Romilly School:

During their time at our school, children will be happy, confident and excited in their learning.

We will all work together to make sure that children develop values, skills and knowledge which will prepare them for the rest of their learning journey.

Dear Parents,

Choosing the right school is vitally important. Most parents want a good education for their child but they also want them to feel safe and secure. At Romilly we believe that we can offer these things. We pride ourselves on the broad , balanced and full education we provide for all children – the high standards of teaching and learning are a credit to the hard work of both staff and pupils. We are equally proud of the ethos of friendliness and co-operation which is always evident to anyone visiting the school .

We value our pupils greatly and believe their time at school should be rewarding and fulfilling. Should you choose to send your child to Romilly Primary School I am confident that you will have made a good choice.

Yours sincerely,

R.K.Law – Headteacher

Arrangements for Visiting the School

We see it as important that an atmosphere of trust and partnership exist between school and home.

If you have a problem, have a word with the class teacher as soon as possible. Staff are available most days to speak with parents. Try and make an appointment if you can.

If you need to speak with the Headteacher, telephone or call in, we will try to accommodate you, however an appointment may have to be made.

Parents consultation evenings are held in the autumn term and spring term (just before Easter).  We think it is important to see parents part of the way through the year rather than at the end.  At the end of the year parents will receive a report and there will be an opportunity to discuss the report if  necessary.

We also hold a variety of open sessions for parents including 'drop in' sessions for nursery and reception and workshops linked to aspects of learning and teaching. In these and other ways we hope to make all parents feel welcome and sctively involved in thier childrens Learning experince.
