How do I enrol?

To enrol for any of our courses, you need to download and fill in the enrolment form above.  If you require help completing the form, please follow the step by step instructions here.

Once you have completed the enrolment form you need to send it via post or drop it into the Community Learning Centre of your choice.

How much do the courses cost?

The cost of the course can be found alongside the course details in the Courses For Adults Brochure and on this website.

The majority of courses in the 2008-2009 programme last for 20 weeks, although there are shorter courses and one day workshops and there will be a new summer programme available from April 2009.  It is hoped that the variety in the length of courses will provide greater choice and keep costs down.

The standard cost of a 2 hour a day, 1 day a week course that runs for 10 weeks remains exactly the same as last year £48.

The only change to the payment of course fees is that if the course is longer than 10 weeks, to safeguard your place and the sustainability of the course, you will be required to pay for 2 Terms in advance.  For instance, if the course you wish to attend is advertised as 2 hours per session for 20 weeks, then the standard fee payable would be £96.

Do you qualify for a reduced fee?

Reductions are available on a majority of courses, see if you qualify for a waiver.

What about an ILA?

Individual Learning Accounts (ILAs) can be used to cover part if not all of the cost of your course.  To find out if you qualify for an ILA, please visit the ILA Wales website.

The courses for which we can accept ILA funding are:

  • ECDL
  • ECDL Advanced
  • Mynediad 1
  • Mynediad 2
  • Sylfaen 1

ILAs may be accepted on other courses, but would be subject to approval from ILA Wales.
