Community Enterprise Services
The Council's Lifelong Learning Service supports and encourages
enterprise skills, confidence and knowledge for individuals and
community groups towards a better future for themselves and
their communities.
Training information, advice and guidance is available across
the Vale through four programmes which support our aims.
Community Enterprise Development
To develop new projects, support existing groups and encourage
social enterprise.
Skills towards employment
Moving On to support people to gain skills, knowledge and
confidence to plan for their future work, learning or community
activity.
Skills and support for self-employment
Training and confidential 1:1 advice and guidance to plan for
self employment in the future.
Community Enterprise Centre
The Centre supports and encourages community regeneration, with
workshops, information and training facilities.

Communities First
The Vale of Glamorgan Council hosts Communities First in the
Vale, which is managed by partnership boards in Gibbonsdown and
Thomson Street Estate.
