Number and Play (NAP)
Number and Play is a five week
programme. It has been designed to complement the Language and Play
Programme for babies and young children. It focuses upon the
language of maths and early number fun.
Number fun is much more
than counting – it’s part of everyday life. It’s about number,
space, shape, size, time and measurement.
There are five practical workshops for parents/carers and their
young children to enjoy:
- Number fun with songs and rhymes
- Number fun in everyday routines
- Number fun out and about
- Number fun with books and stories
- Number fun with games
