Food Safety Teampublic protection

The Vale of Glamorgan Food Safety Team aims to protect consumers and employees in the Vale of Glamorgan from food borne illnesses, contaminated and unfit food, food with misleading or incorrect labels and poor and unsafe food workplaces.

We ensure that food premises comply with the Food Safety Act 1990 and other regulations by inspecting, sampling, enforcing and educating within premises in which food is handled.
