Food Sampling
At the Vale of Glamorgan Council, we regularly monitor and check
food goods. We look at the Microbiological Contamination
levels in food and well as analyzing them for chemicals,
nutritional content and to check labeling accuracy among
others.
We sample from our own plan and also as part of various cross
Wales groups. The latest
survey (PDF) was part of a survey by Local Authorities looking
at levels of Trans Fats in different food groups.
