Classes, Workshops and Events
The library is the place to come if you want
to explore your ancestry or take the first steps to learning how to
use a computer, surf the web, or email a friend. We offer a
variety of classes and workshops at different libraries throughout
the Vale of Glamorgan; learn in a relaxed atmosphere with trained
friendly tutors.
Come along and sign up for one of our
sessions, they’re free to everyone, but we hope that once you’ve
seen what a great place the library is, you will become a member to
enjoy the other facilities we offer.
If you are new to computers then why not try
First
Steps, a basic introduction to the use of the computer,
keyboard and mouse, with a variety of language options and
listening facilities.
Book a one-to-one appointment with one of
our staff who will help guide you through our First Steps on your
computer resources. When you feel a little more
confident they will help you set up an email address to keep
in touch with friends and family.
