Thanks to the BBC genealogy series "Who Do You Think You Are?" researching your family history is more popular than ever, but it can be a lengthy and costly business. Now the Vale of Glamorgan Libraries can help. We have subscribed to www.ancestrylibrary.com (a.k.a. Ancestry.com and Ancestry.co.uk), one of the largest collections of family history records on the Internet. It includes scanned images from the 1901, 1891, 1881, 1871 and 1861 censuses for England and Wales. All members of the Vale of Glamorgan Library Service can access it for free on our library PCs.
