Jobs, training and careers

How the library can help you

Vale libraries have a variety of resources to offer job seekers or those looking for a career change.  Membership of the library is free but essential to borrow books or access the computer facilities.  Once a member you can use your card in any library in the Vale.

Library opening times can be found on the website or downloaded here.

How can you join?

If you are over 16 you must show one form of identification which includes your name and current address e.g. gas bill, council tax bill, driving licence and you must read the Library Statement.  If you have no ID with you your new library card can be posted to your home address.  To use the computers you will have to read and sign the Acceptable Use of Computers Policy.
