Vale of Glamorgan Council

Online library

Search for books, films and music here

Check our online catalogue for the book, DVD or CD you're interested in.

If you've joined the library you can also use your library card number and pin from home to view information about your current loans, change your details, renew your items, request new items and review titles you have previously searched for or borrowed. If you do not have a pin number, please visit a library and ask staff for a pin.

The calalogue enables you to:

  • Search by subject and keyword
  • Read a plot summary and information about the author
  • Narrow searches by library or format (such as talking book, children’s book, DVD)
  • Save results to a printable list, reserve or save them for future reference.
  • Link directly to some of our online resources such as Encyclopaedia Britannica and Oxford Reference.

Access our online library catalogueIf you're not a member of the library you may join as a guest from home by clicking on the green LOGON/JOIN button on the top left corner of the catalogue. Hit this button to see a further option to REGISTER AS A GUEST.

To gain full membership please show library staff proof of your name and address and they will issue you with a library card.
