Grace Williams (1906 -
1977)
A portrait of Grace Williams by the
artist Ceri Thomas has been donated to Barry Library by the local
Soroptimist club. The painting may be viewed on the first floor of
Barry Library from 29th February 2008. On that day the Ceri Thomas
will be selling signed copies of his latest book at approximately
12pm in the library.
Grace Williams was one of the
Wales’ most distinguished twentieth-century composers. She lived in
Barry for most of her life.
