Online Resources Spotlight
Each month we highlight one of our online resources. These
resources can be found on our 24 Hour Library
or Homework Help Page. They allow Vale
of Glamorgan Library members to view a range of information books
and newspapers online. Many of these databases can be accessed from
any internet PC when you type your library card number.
September: Back to School:
Heinemann World Book and the Homework Help Page
This month
our theme is Back to school ! Remember to check out our
Homework

online. There you will find Encyclopedia
Britannica and Heinemann World Book.
Both of these online encyclopedias come in three
different versions, for primary school children (Britannica
Junior and World Book Online Kids), for
secondary school children (Britannica Student and
World Book Online Student) and for GCSE students

Advanced also contains a database of periodicals, e-books
and primary sources that includes classics such as Pride and
Prejudice, Emma, Shakespeare's plays, the works of Chaucer
and much more.
On our library PCs you will find

biographies and primary sources to help support the study of these
subject areas.
