Reserving items online

You will need a pin to access the service. If you do not have a pin number, please ask staff at your nearest library to allocate one to you.

1. Access the online catalogue.
2. You will see a number of icons on the left side of the catalogue.
3. Click on Log on / Join icon.
4. Enter your Library card number and your password (pin number).
5. Click Sign In.
6. Your name should now appear at the top of the search screen.
7. Search for the item you wish to reserve.
8. Click on the correct title from the list that appears.
9. Then click on the Reserve icon on the left side of the screen.
10. A dialogue box will appear and you can choose your preferred pick up point from the drop down list of libraries.
11. Click Make reservation.
12. A message should appear confirming your reservation and you should click OK. An email will also be sent to you confirming the reservation.
13. To view the status of your reservations at any time, click on the My Activities listed on the left side of the screen
14. Then click on the My reservations link.
15. A list of your reservations will appear.
16. From this list you can view the status of your reservation or you can edit the pick-up point or delete the reservation entirely.
17. Remember to click Log off at the end of your session.
