For legal information you can use Cans Advice Notes Online, this
database is accessible only on library PCs. It is the online
version of Cans Digest of Social Legislation. Cans Online gives
general legal advice covering Wales, England and Scotland. It is
updated each week and covers everything from adoption to zebra
crossings. The information is set out under 20 main subject
headings, which include business, consumer protection, social
security, tax and town and country planning. Our library PCs can
also access Justis UK Online, which allows you to
view Acts of Parliament from 1235 to the present day.
