With a variety of woodlands, beaches and commons there are plenty of places to explore by foot across our countryside and coastal areas. Pop into one of our visitor centres for walking guides, orienteering routes, maps and nature trails.

The Glamorgan Heritage Coast is now easily accessible for cyclists along the road from Cardiff to Bridgend. You can also take a ride through our country parks and explore the nature and wildlife along the way.

Water Sports

With 14 miles of coastline, it’s no wonder that the water is a hot spot for locals and visitors alike. Visit the Heritage Coast Centre or Cosmeston Lakes for more information about surfing, kayaking, diving, paddle boarding and windsurfing.
