Events and Activities

These events are delivered by the Sports and Play Development Team or local community clubs and organisations.

 

If you or your organisation are delivering taster sessions, running courses or holding an event, please let us know as we can assist with promoting these activities at no cost to you.

 

 

Play Rangers 

(Funded by Wick Community Council & Dinas Powys Community Council)

An opportunity to get outdoors and have a go at den building, games, arts and crafts and outdoor play. These sessions are aimed at ages 5+ and are open access. Booking is not required but you will be required to complete a registration form on the day. For further information please contact.

Play schemes are run in a community building and is an opportunity to meet up with friends, do some arts and crafts and outdoor activities. Play scheme is suitable for ages 5-11years. National Play Day is a celebration of a Child's Right to Play and this year's theme is 'Build a Child' at PORTHKERRY PARK, BARRY  - 7 August 11am - 3pm

 

Healthy Active and Outdoors

Have fun in the outdoors. Aimed at ages 5-11 years, children can get involved in outdoor games, sports and challenges. Be prepared to get muddy, wet and messy. These sessions are open access so booking is not required but you will need to complete a registration form on the day.
