The new school buildings opened for children on 2nd September 2015. The new school buildings replace the temporary class rooms and now offers a school fit for the aspirations for learning and developing children through the medium of Welsh in Llantwit Major.
The school, which was first established in 2011 was created to respond to the increasing demand for a Welsh medium learning environment for primary school children in the west of the Vale.
The Welsh Government, through the 21st Century schools programme, are supporting the Council’s investment in education and the recognition that Welsh medium primary education should be located at the heart of the community to benefit not only the children, but the communities of Llantwit Major and the surrounding area.
