We specialise in education, play, creative arts, and working with disabilities.

We have partnered up with the Vale of Glamorgan Council Play Department to ensure we have Play Workers on hand to interact with the children, and can provide an even higher quality experience.

We welcome children with all disabilities, additional and medical needs to enjoy wheelchair accessible sand and water play, sensory activities, our mud kitchens and play equipment.

We encourage children to connect with nature and enjoy being outdoors, as well as benefit from our educational interactive music and storytelling sessions.

We will take our sessions indoors in colder and wetter weather.

We offer refreshments and will soon have a changing bed and mobile hoist to offer accessible changing facilities.

Twitchy Curtains is a mini theatre experience! Be guided along Holton Road to scan QR codes on shop window stickers to listen in on characters from different decades in Barry's history gossiping and sharing their stories. (After scanning a QR code you can select to hear the recording in Welsh or English) There will be an optional quiz to complete too, to see how much you remember! Each participant needs a smartphone or tablet with internet, and headphones.(We will have some spare headphones)

Meet the Goats

During this 20 minute activity, children will be able to meet our gorgeous goats. Children will learn all about some of our cheekiest Farm residents, including what they eat, how they play and what they need to stay fit and healthy. Led by a member of our Animal Care Team, this session will be fun and information with the chance for children to ask lots of questions and give our friendly goats plenty of cuddles.

Twitchy Curtains is a mini theatre experience! Be guided along Holton Road to scan QR codes on shop window stickers to listen in on characters from different decades in Barry's history gossiping and sharing their stories. (After scanning a QR code you can select to hear the recording in Welsh or English) There will be an optional quiz to complete too, to see how much you remember! Each participant needs a smartphone or tablet with internet, and headphones.(We will have some spare headphones)

Discover more about the local countryside and wildlife in a guided nature walk.Join us on a relaxed walk across our Care Farm and find out about the type of wildlife you can expect to find in the area. Understand why the habitats we have suit different animals, birds, and amphibians, and the best places to spot them. Find out about the different species of trees and plants on site and learn more about the local environment.

Our guided nature walk will be led by our Woodland Project Management lead, and you can ask as many questions as you like throughout the walk. 
Tickets for the walk include entrance to the Farm so feel free to stay after the walk and enjoy exploring. See the animals, discover the woodland, bring a picnic, or pop into the café for a light bite or snack.

Twitchy Curtains digital audio trail - guided walk

Twitchy Curtains is a mini theatre experience! Be guided along Holton Road to scan QR codes on shop window stickers to listen in on characters from different decades in Barry's history gossiping and sharing their stories. (After scanning a QR code you can select to hear the recording in Welsh or English) There will be an optional quiz to complete too, to see how much you remember! Each participant needs a smartphone or tablet with internet, and headphones.(We will have some spare headphones)

Family Sensory Sunday

For children with disabilities and additional needs and their families.  You will always have a warm welcome at our inclusive play sessions.

We specialise in education, play, creative arts, and working with disabilities.

We have partnered up with the Vale of Glamorgan Council Play Department to ensure we have Play Workers on hand to interact with the children, and can provide an even higher quality experience.

We welcome children with all disabilities, additional and medical needs to enjoy wheelchair accessible sand and water play, sensory activities, our mud kitchens and play equipment.

We encourage children to connect with nature and enjoy being outdoors, as well as benefit from our educational interactive music and storytelling sessions.

We will take our sessions indoors in colder and wetter weather.

We offer refreshments and will soon have a changing bed and mobile hoist to offer accessible changing facilities.
