Dinas Powys Open Spaces
The Vale of Glamorgan Council has received Section 106 monies from local developments to provide and improve public open spaces and community facilities in Dinas Powys. This consultation closed on Monday 13 May. A report on the results of the consultation will be considered before the tender process to appoint contractors begins.
21st Century Schools
Latest on proposals to expand Ysgol Sant Baruc, St David's Church in Wales Primary School and St Nicholas Church in Wales Primary School as part of the 21st Century Schools Band B Programme.

Capturing residents' views on the potential future uses of Belle Vue Pavilion. A report on the results of the consultation will be considered by local members before a decision is taken on how to proceed.
Council Tax Discretionary Reduction
The Council has the discretion to apply a reduction to Council Tax in circumstances where it is felt appropriate to do so. The Council is proposing to adopt a policy for awarding discretionary council tax reduction. Under the proposals the reduction would be applied in the following circumstances:
- exceptional financial hardship;
- crisis situation(e.g. fire or floor);
- other exceptional circumstances.
This consultation closed at 12:00pm on 1 March. We will now consider all of the responses received before making a final decision on the policy.
Supplementary Planning Guidance
A formal six week public consultation on the draft SPG which ran from Friday 04 January 2019 until Friday 15 February 2019. Representations will now be considered before a decison on whether to formally adopt the SPG will be taken.
The Council has a requirement to prepare a toilet strategy for the Vale of Glamorgan. Following a public consultation on a range of issues this strategy will now be drafted.
