Chinese Style Cookery

A fresh look at Chinese style cookery with a nod in the direction of Thailand. In the morning session I will demonstrate four dishes, with your hands-on assistance, and we will eat what we’ve prepared for lunch. In the afternoon session you will prepare and cook, with my assistance, one dish from the four that has been demonstrated, for which you will need to bring the main protein elements (e.g. prawns, chicken, nuts etc.) You can then take your food home, to great acclaim. The four dishes you'll learn are: Steamed Wontons, Cashew Chicken, Pad Thai Noodles with Prawns and Stir Fried Ginger Broccoli (V) Nb The dishes contain meat, shellfish, chicken and nuts.

 

Equipment List:

You will need to bring the equipment and main ingredients for the ONE dish you choose to cook for yourself. On enrolment you will be sent more details about each dish and will be given my email address for you to let me know which dish you’re cooking and to ask me any questions. You will only need to bring the protein elements of your chosen dish. I will provide the various sauces you will need, and the smaller items like spring onions, wonton wrappers etc. An apron would be great. Fridges are available.

Yna gallwch fynd â'ch bwyd adref i’w frolio. Y pedwar pryd y byddwch chi'n eu dysgu yw:  Wontons wedi’u Mygu, Cyw Iâr Cashiw, Nwdls Pad Thai gyda Chorgimychiaid a Brocoli Sinsir wedi’i Dro-Ffrïo (Ll) ON Mae'r prydau’n cynnwys cig, pysgod cregyn, cyw iâr a chnau.

Bydd angen i chi ddod â'r offer a'r prif gynhwysion ar gyfer yr UN pryd bwyd rydych chi'n dewis ei goginio. Ar ôl cofrestru byddwch yn cael rhagor o fanylion am bob pryd a’m cyfeiriad e-bost er mwyn i chi allu rhoi gwybod i mi pa bryd rydych chi'n ei goginio ac i ofyn unrhyw gwestiynau. Dim ond eitemau protein eich pryd y bydd angen i chi ddod gyda chi. Byddaf yn darparu'r gwahanol sawsiau y bydd eu hangen arnoch, a'r eitemau llai fel shibwns, lapiadau wonton ac ati. Byddai ffedog yn wych. Oergelloedd ar gael.
