Eich Lle Update - next phase of moves to begin next month
We’re excited to share that the Eich Lle office accommodation project is progressing at pace, with the next phase of moves to take place between July - August.
Work Commences Soon
Work will begin from 30 June and is expected to last for approximately 8–10 weeks. During this time, we’ll be making a number of improvements to our office spaces to better support collaboration, hybrid working and allow the next phase of moves to take place.
Upcoming Moves
As part of the project, several teams will be relocating to allow colleagues from Place to relocate to the Civic Offices and make best use of our space. An estimated timeline is as follows:
- Property relocate within Civic Offices (from 21 July)
- ICT relocate within Civic Offices (from 27 July)
- HR & Payroll relocate within Civic Offices (from 14 July)
- Finance relocate within Civic Offices (from 24 July)
- Place colleagues move to the second floor of the Civic Offices (from 11 August)
- Social services colleagues move from Dock Offices basement to first floor Dock Offices (from 18 August)
- Dock offices basement cleared of all furniture (by end of August)
These changes are designed to bring teams closer together, improve working conditions, and make the most of our available space.
During September works will also be undertaken to improve the Cosmeston & Porthkerry meeting rooms in the Civic Offices.
What’s Next?
In the coming weeks, you’ll see more activity as internal works begin. We’ll continue to keep you informed with regular updates and will provide support to all teams involved in the moves.
Thank you for your continued support and flexibility as we work to create a modern, inclusive, and inspiring workplace for everyone.
