Sleep Guidance

Getting enough sleep helps people to be more energised and be able to carry out the hobbies they enjoy and the work they need to do.

Poor sleep has been found to negatively affect many mental health issues, including:

  • decreased effectiveness of medications
  • mood changes
  • decreased ability to cope with depression and anxiety
  • poor memory and concentration
  • feeling low and struggling to cope
  • triggering mania in people who have bipolar disorder.
