Holocaust Memorial Day Exhibition at Art Central Gallery

This week, Leader of the Council Cllr Lis Burnett & Chief Executive Rob Thomas visited Art Central Gallery in Barry to take a look at the Holocaust Memorial Day exhibition titled 'Underground - Ordinary People'.

Art Central Gallery is hosting an exhibition to mark Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) 2023 on the 27 January. This International Day of Remembrance commemorates the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau. The Vale of Glamorgan Council have marked this day each year since 2007, honouring the millions of victims of the Second World War Holocaust and subsequent genocides that have taken place in other countries. This year’s theme, Ordinary People, is set by the Holocaust Memorial Trust, our long-term partners for this event.

On Saturday 28 January at 12:00 noon at Art Central Gallery, there will be an event to mark Holocaust Memorial Day 2023.
