Have Your Say on cycle parking at train stations
Transport for Wales (TfW) is working to improve active travel options across the region, with a particular focus on walking, wheeling and cycling. As part of this, TfW is currently seeking feedback on the availability and future development of secure cycle parking at station locations across Wales.
Secure cycle parking refers to enclosed, lockable areas designed to provide greater protection for bicycles, in contrast to the more common open-air stands. These secure facilities aim to give people greater confidence when leaving their bikes in public spaces, ultimately encouraging more people to consider cycling as part of their daily journey.
Have your say
TfW is looking to understand how the availability of secure cycle parking might influence travel choices. Staff are invited to share their views by taking part in a short online survey. The survey seeks feedback on:
- Whether more secure parking would affect your decision to cycle
- Which types of journeys you currently make by cycle
- If additional secure parking would allow you to make new or different journeys
