Our FIS Team hosted another magical Christmas Party!

Our Family Information Service (FIS) Team kicked off December in style, hosting two free Christmas parties for families across the Vale on 02 December.

FIS Team at the Christmas PartyMore than 700 children, parents, and carers joined the celebrations at the Memo Arts Centre in Barry.

Sports and Play, Early Help, Libraries, Childcare and Early Years, Communities for Work Plus and many other partners and services came along to offer activities and chat with families about the support available across the Vale.

There was plenty of fun on offer with the opportunity to meet Father Christmas, have their faces painted, dancing, playing games, and getting stuck into a variety of arts and crafts.

Warm Spaces funding meant families could also help themselves to free healthy snacks and drinks throughout the day.

A huge well done to the whole FIS team for putting on such a fantastic day, and a special shout-out goes to Outreach and Information Officer Kelly-Marie Fenton, who led the organisation of both events and worked incredibly hard to bring everything together.
