Car Park Reminder – Keeping EV Charging Bays Clear

Just a reminder to please keep Electric Vehicle charging bays free for those who need them.

Recently, non-EV vehicles have been parking in the designated EV charging bays at the Civic Offices, making it difficult for Electric Vehicles to access charging.

To ensure fair access, please remember:

• Only EV vehicles should use these bays – non-EV vehicles should park in standard spaces.
• Only EVs actively charging should use these bays – if your EV doesn’t need charging, please park in a standard space to keep the bay free for others.

The Facilities team will be monitoring the situation and where necessary will place polite notices on non-EV vehicles parked in these bays.
