Age Friendly Vale to host the first Connection Café in June!
Age Friendly Vale to host the first Connection Café in June!
The event follows the launch of their Action Strategy and Action Plan
Since the commitment across the Vale of Glamorgan to make the Vale a better place to grow older in was recognised by the World Health Organisation and awarded Age Friendly Status, the Public Service Board have been working with partners and community members to develop stronger connections with one another.
All representatives of community groups and service providers supporting older people in the Vale of Glamorgan are invited to join the Age Friendly Vale Network and the Older People's Commissioner for Wales at the Connection Cafe on Tuesday 3rd of June, 10:00am - 11:30am, at Penarth Pier Pavilion.
People in attendance will be given the opportunity to participate in rapid networking with other service providers/local groups, and follow up conversations over a light brunch!
If you'd like to attend the event – whether to promote your service, find out about other services and activities, or find new contacts to work together locally – complete the short booking form to request your free place.
