Explore the Cycle to Work Scheme this Bike Month

To celebrate Bike Month, we're shining a light on the Cycle 2 Work Scheme. Six months ago, we announced that Scheme would be open all year round – and since then, many more colleagues have signed up and are enjoying its benefits!

The scheme, delivered in partnership with Cycle Solutions, allows you to purchase a bike and accessories through monthly salary deductions:

• No up-front cost
• Tax and National Insurance savings
• A wide range of bikes to choose from – including e-bikes
• Average savings of £500 per person

How staff travel to and from work is one of the highest contributors to our organisational carbon footprint. Reporting our carbon emissions helps us and Welsh Government to track our progress towards the goal of reaching net zero by 2030.

As we continue to support active travel and promote the use of public transport, this survey will also help us to understand current staff commuting habits and where more support may be needed make our commutes more environmentally friendly.
