Are you interested in learning Welsh? Do you want a refresher of basic Welsh?

The classes are perfect for people new to the language, people who learnt a bit a while ago, or if you are just out of practice.

Classes are just one hour per week.

• Monday 1:30 – 2 :30 – starts 29/09/2025
• Tuesday 10:30 – 11:30 – starts 30/09/2025
• Wednesday 4:00 – 5:00 – starts 01/10/2025
• Thursday 9:30 – 10:30 – starts 02/10/2025

We will consider a formal Mynediad/Entry level course from January, depending on the success of this introductory course.

There are lots of short online courses and industry specific courses available on the Learn Welsh website. You can start learning Welsh by following these online courses. The courses introduce everyday words and phrases and are available to everyone, for free.

If you want to learn Welsh at a higher level, please visit the Learn Welsh website and search for a course at the appropriate level. You can register for a course with any of the Learn Welsh providers across Wales – there should be a class time and level for everyone! Put the Vale of Glamorgan Council as your employer and Elyn Hannah as the named contact.
