Free VAWDASV Training for Staff

There are free training places available for Vale of Glamorgan Council staff on a range of Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (VAWDASV) programmes. These sessions will help you build confidence, strengthen practice, and improve support for the people we work with.

Email NTFAdmin@cardiff.gov.uk to register. Places are first-come, first-served, with priority given where required.

Forced Marriage Awareness

Recognise and respond safely to forced marriage, including understanding izzat (honour), warning signs, and how to provide sensitive support.Suitable for staff working with children, young people, families, or communities.

An Introduction to Neuroinclusion

Learn about neurodiversity, common neurodivergent conditions, executive functioning challenges, and how to improve neuroinclusive practice.

Stalking & Harassment

Domestic Abuse & Coercive Control
