Our annual beach hut draw is now live!

Each year, we invite staff and residents to enter a draw to purchase an annual hire for one of our beach huts at Barry Island’s Eastern Prominade.

This year, we have six large and six small huts available for annual hire.

For the 2026/27 season:

• the charge for a small hut is £730 per year
• the charge for a large hut is £990 per year

(All charges are subject to Cabinet approval).

Register your interest by 12pm on Sunday 15 March 2026 to enter the draw. You can find more information on the Vale of Glamorgan Council website.

If interest exceeds the number of huts available, then the Council will conduct a draw that will take place during the week commencing Monday 16 March 2026.

Due to high demand those who currently hire an annual beach hut (2025/26) are unable to apply for one this coming season (2026/27).
