It’s time again for the annual Staff Travel Survey.
Each year we submit our carbon emissions to Welsh Government. Staff travel habits are one of the highest contributors to the organisational carbon footprint, so we use this annual survey to capture that data.
Tracking carbon emissions and reporting them to the Welsh Government helps measure our progress towards reaching net zero by 2030. Not only will this survey collect data on the environmental aspects of staff travel but it will also help us identify where more support is needed to help staff make more environmentally conscious decisions.
Please help us by completing the short survey by 31st July to let us know how you travelled to work between April 2025 and April 2026.
Today (18 June) is Clean Air Day, a timely reminder of the positive impact that sustainable travel choices can have on air quality, carbon emissions and our health and wellbeing. As part of our wider commitments to sustainable staff travel, we are signed up to Level Two of the Healthy Staff Travel Charter. This involves supporting staff to choose healthier, more sustainable ways to travel to and for work.
If you want to explore sustainable travel options take a look at our Guide to sustainable staff travel . It lists a range of initiatives in place to help staff find a sustainable travel option that suits them.
