Voting has now opened for the Schools Hero Award Category

As the Staff Awards draw nearer, we’re pleased to announce the latest updates on the event.

Nominations for the Staff Awards closed on Friday 24 June - thank you to all those who nominated colleagues. We have had a record-breaking 194 nominations for the 2022 awards!

The nominees have now started to be whittled down by our evaluation panels to just a few, short-listed candidates for each of the 13 award categories.

With the School Summer break around the corner, the 18 nominees for the School’s Hero category were first to be presented to the evaluation panel.

The School’s Hero category aims to recognise an individual who has made a significant contribution to their School. With this in mind, the panel have now decided on 5 nominees:

  1. Tracey Clee from Cadoxton Primary School
  2. Brenda Cleak from St. Richard Gwyn
  3. Jeffrey Schembri from Oakfield Primary School
  4. Hannah Cogbill from Cadoxton Primary School
  5. Wyn Gower from St. Richard Gwyn

Congratulations to our first short-listed candidates!

Voting for the School’s Hero group has now opened. Please take to time to review the nominations and make your vote.

Remember, voting is open to everyone, not just School staff!
