April is Stress Awareness Month – Let’s Prioritise Wellbeing

Stress is something we all experience, but how we manage it can make a big difference to our health, happiness, and productivity. Stress Awareness Month is a great opportunity to take a step back and reflect on how we're coping — and to explore the support available.

Stress affects us in different ways, but with the right tools, it can be managed. The Stress Awareness module on iDev is designed to give staff an overview of stress awareness at work. The module explains what stress is and how it is expressed physically and psychologically.

Managing your Financial Wellbeing

Money worries are a common source of stress — but there is support available.

Financial education specialists 'Affinity Connect' are holding a Financial Wellbeing Session on 20th May, open to all staff. Anyone who attends can also book a free 1-2-1 session with a financial advisor to discuss their personal situation.

Staff may also consider Moneyworks Wales, which provides a safe, affordable way to save and borrow, helping to ease financial pressures and improve peace of mind.

Boosting General Wellbeing

Managing stress is also about making time for things that help us feel balanced and supported.

Our Wellbeing Hub is full of activities and resources, including weekly yoga sessions, mental health support, and lifestyle tips to help you manage your wellbeing both in and outside of work.
