Hi all / Shwmae pawb,

As the Christmas break rapidly approaches, we both wanted to take an opportunity to wish you all the very best for the festive season.

As seems to have become common place, it has been an often challenging year, but one that has also brought with it opportunities and successes across all our teams.

The way this Council has continued to serve our residents and communities across the Vale of Glamorgan is down to you - our staff - and the dedication and enthusiasm that you have shown day after day and week after week.

We are very proud of the way we continue to deliver increasingly vital services to those residents and communities that need our support and we are extremely grateful for your efforts throughout the year. 

As is always the case, the dedication of our teams and the importance of some of our front-line services means that many colleagues will be working or will be on-call over the holiday period. Thank you for that sacrifice and commitment – we never take this for granted and we never will.

For those that are able to take time off, we hope you can relax and enjoy it with friends and family.
