Shared Lives Christmas Party – A Night to Remember!

From sparkling sequins to festive Christmas jumpers, the Colcot Arms was full of colour, laughter and celebration as carers, colleagues and service users came together for the Shared Lives Christmas Party.

The Vale of Glamorgan Shared Lives Scheme has been established for over 20 years, supporting individuals with a wide range of needs including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, mental health needs and dementia.

Our Approved Shared Lives Carers welcome people into their own family homes, offering support in a safe, nurturing environment. 

The aim is always the same: to help each person live their best life, their way whilst staying connected to their communities, building confidence, promoting independence and developing new skills. 

It was a truly joyful evening, and a fantastic way to start the festive season.
