Staff Travel Survey

Every year, along with all Welsh Public Sector bodies, we have to report our carbon emissions to Welsh Government.

How staff travel to and from work is one of the highest contributors to our organisational carbon footprint.

Reporting our carbon emissions helps us and Welsh Government to track our progress towards the goal of reaching net zero by 2030.

As we continue to support active travel and promote the use of public transport, this survey will also help us to understand current staff commuting habits and where more support may be needed make our commutes more environmentally friendly.

The Vale of Glamorgan Council Travel Plan

The Council's Travel Plan aims to assist staff in choosing sustainable modes of travel  for their journey to work.
