Have Your Say: Help Shape the Vale’s Future Active Travel Routes

Our Active Travel Team is currently updating the Vale of Glamorgan’s Active Travel Network Map, the plan that guides how walking, wheeling and cycling routes are developed across the county. And we want your input!

Every council in Wales is required to review its active travel routes under the Active Travel (Wales) Act 2013. This important work is supported by dedicated Welsh Government funding and helps ensure our routes are safe, accessible and fit for the future.

We’d love to hear your views on:

• Existing routes – What’s working well, and what could be improved?
• Future or proposed routes – Where do you think new connections are needed?
• Places that need to be safer or easier to travel through – Whether you're walking, wheeling or cycling.

Your feedback will help shape a network that supports healthier travel choices for everyone who lives, works and visits the Vale.
