Farewell Celebration for Helen Picton

After more than 40 years of dedicated public service and an outstanding contribution to the Public Protection profession, Helen Picton will be retiring at the end of this month. Helen’s commitment, experience and support to colleagues over the years have been invaluable, and she will be greatly missed by everyone.

Although Helen was keen to keep things low-key, SRS colleagues have persuaded her that a small leaving celebration is a must, and as such, there is an open invitation to join the celebration to wish Helen well.

Date: Monday 23 March

Time: 12:00–2:00pm

Location: Dunraven Room, Civic Office, Barry

Please come along for a cup of tea, some cake, and the opportunity to say farewell and thank Helen for her many years of service.

In place of a traditional leaving gift, Helen has asked that anyone who wishes to contribute instead consider donating to Velindre Cancer Care, a charity close to her heart. Donations can be made via the JustGiving page here.
