Walk a Mile in Her Shoes

Join us at Barry Island Promenade on Friday 27 November 2026, from 10am to 12pm, for our upcoming Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event.

This awareness-raising event invites colleagues to come together for a walk to show their support for ending violence against women and girls, while helping to spark conversations, challenge attitudes and promote a safer, more equal community.

The route is one mile long, and men taking part are welcome to wear women's shoes or their own if they wish.

Want to take part? 

Pairs of women's shoes are available to borrow, but numbers are limited, so booking is essential. 

Please book in advance to secure your place and, if needed, a pair of heels.
