Kitchen Waste

Kitchen waste recycling allows residents to place food waste into one container for recycling.

Please ensure your caddy is placed on the kerbside (or in your communal bin area) by 7.00am on your collection day.

Collected: Weekly

Kitchen Waste Bag Delivery

From Monday 3 April we will begin delivering annual supplies of kitchen waste bags. Every participating household will have 3 rolls delivered on the day of their food waste collection. We anticipate that delivery will take 3 weeks to complete.

Residents can place food items out for their kitchen waste recycling. Including:

  • Beans / pasta / rice
  • Bread / cakes / pastries
  • Dairy products (you can include egg shells from your eggs)
  • Meat and fish (including bones and shells from mussels, oysters, etc.)
  • Tea bags / coffee grounds
  • Cat and dog food
  • Guinea pig, rabbit and bird food

Please Note: Do not place packaging, liquids, oils and fats or animal/human faeces out for kitchen waste recycling.
