Rising Sun Karate ClubAt the club’s annual tournament, 20 children took to the dojo to showcase their fighting skills. Points were awarded for demonstrating the technical aspects of Kyokushin, as well as outstanding performance and contact.

The youngsters also raised an impressive £110.00 from the event, which was later donated to the Hen Goleg League of Friends Charity for New Horizons Day Service, also in Barry.

New Horizons Day Service offers a day service for Vale residents living with a permanent or substantial physical disability. The service aims to enhance people's well-being by supporting their health, social life and independence, as well as maintaining and developing their skills.
