Click and collect is now open

   

From Monday 29th June, library members in the Vale of Glamorgan can reserve up to five items using our click and collect service. Use our online catalogue or call us to place your reservations and once they are available, we will contact you to book a collection time slot at your convenience. Please note that you must book in advance to collect any items from the library at this time.

 

Currently this service is available at all branches with the exception of Wenvoe. All branches offering this service are operating on reduced opening hours, for details of current opening hours please click here.

 

Items can now also be returned to library branches during their opening hours. Please return books to the dedicated returns drop points. You are not required to book an appointment to return items.

 

Browsing and Computer Use

 

From Monday 10th August, the library branches at Barry, Cowbridge and Llantwit Major will be open for pre booked appointments for members of the public to browse or to use computer facilities. If you would like to book an appointment at any of the above libraries, please contact them directly using the information found here.

 

 

Please note that recycling containers, bags and dog bags are not currently available at Vale of Glamorgan library branches.

Lit-Scheme

Lit Reach Scheme Project

The Vale of Glamorgan Libraries is a member of the Lit Reach Scheme run by Literature Wales.

 

This aims to offer creative writing opportunities for individuals and groups within  their member authorities.

 

A recent Lit Reach project for St Athan Library saw Year 6 from St Athan Primary work with Hip-Hop educator, lyricist and rapper Rufus Mufasa to create a rap song.
